Shan Gorman

Registered Massage Therapist

Shan (she/her/they/them), is a trauma informed registered massage therapist. Their focal areas have been the main spaces in which we typically hold our stress, grief, traumas and other strong emotions- such as the jaw, neck, shoulders, abdomen and hips. With their deep appreciation of the connections of body, mind and spirit, Shan tries to take in all the information they can and look at each person with a holistic perspective. They have a slow and steady approach to many deep manual techniques to ensure relaxation and calmness before areas of discomfort are treated.

Achieving a parasympathetic nervous system response can greatly influence these key areas. Which is why it’s a goal of theirs to provide a caring, welcoming, nonjudgmental space for people with all body types, abilities and gender identities. Shan has obtained certification in RAPID Neurofascial reset, Cupping therapy, Neuromuscular therapy, Raindrop therapy, Ayurvedic/traditional Indian head massage (Champissage) and Pranic Healing.
