Clinic Policies

Cancellations

There is no charge for appointments cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours notice is given there is a fee of 50% of the service cost.

We understand that emergencies and illness are out of your control.

Illness

Please do not come to your appointment if you are feeling ill. We will also never provide massage therapy if we are feeling ill or are contagious.

You will not be charged a late cancellation fee if you are sick but please give as much notice as possible.
No-Show

In the event that a client fails to show up for their appointment without giving notice, they will be charged 100% of the service amount.  The card on file will be charged.

Future appointments cannot be booked until the balance is paid. We reserve the right to refuse future services after a no call/show.
You must contact us by phone or email. Ignoring appointment reminders does not cancel an appointment.
Punctuality

Clients are asked to please arrive for their appointments 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows for time to fill out or update intake forms and discuss the treatment plan for the session.

In the event a client is running late, the service may be shortened in order to maintain the schedule, and the original treatment time may be charged.
Payment

We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash. Payment is due at the close of service.

If you request, we can direct-bill your insurance plan as long as your plan allows. Insurance plan coverage and information are the responsibility of the client. If we are unable to direct-bill then you must pay the clinic in full and self-submit.

Prices are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to charge for a full session whether or not the full time was fulfilled.
Behaviour

In the event that a client displays inappropriate behavior and/or assaults the therapist, and/or makes inappropriate comments, the session will end immediately.

The client will be charged the full amount of the service and asked to leave. No future appointments will be accepted. We reserve the right to call the police and file a report.

If a client feels they are subject to inappropriate behavior, or anything that makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please speak up so adjustments can be made. Clients reserve the right to end a session at any time.
Scope of Practice

Massage Therapists utilize manual techniques, and potentially other supplemental therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client. We do not diagnose or prescribe medications for medical conditions.

Our services are not intended as an alternative for proper medical treatment. Clients are advised to consult a medical doctor for any specific condition which requires medical treatment.

It is the responsibility of the client to disclose medical history on the intake form and share any changes in their health, diagnoses, treatments, illness, or conditions.
